Customer Reviews: Easy to read bacteriology book January 28, 2010 LC (Baltimore, MD) I bought this book because it was recommended for my graduate level bacteriology course. It was easy to read and understand although it isn't especially comprehensive or detailed. I think it a useful supplement and it is a very affordable book. The topics that are covered are relevant and the book makes them easy to understand.
Came as expected, no flaws in product February 17, 2010 Corina Product came on time, maybe even earlier than expected. Was new and in perfect condition, was a good deal compared to my college book store. It is a very interesting read also, glad I spent the money on it. My pathophysiology book on the other hand... Let's just say it's unfortunate that book is required. I would still enjoy reading this book even if it weren't for a class.
Good Book, for the price September 1, 2010 kt11 Very cheap and still in good condition. The books condition was exactly how it was described. I only payed 15$, and the book is still in good condition
A Thorough and Sophisticated Presentation of Pathogenicity April 23, 2000 12 out of 17 found this review helpful
As an undergraduate student studying microbiology, I found the book to be extremely technical. I would have appreciated a more clinical approach to pathogenicity. Bacterial Pathogenesis can, however, serve as an excellent reference text concerning the details of pathogenicity on a molecular level. The book covers virulence factors and antibiotic in detail. 21 bacterial diseases are covered extensively, each having its own chapter.
